We hunt for shoes and accessories instead of deer. Our hunting season occurs during the deer hunting season. Our goal is to bring friends together to experience what our deer hunter counter parts do. We come together after the hunting season to celebrate. The party is a fundraiser for Chix For A Cause. Keep checking out this blog for updates, stories, pics, and just plain old fun! "After Hunt" Fundraising Party
will be on Thursday, January 29th, 2015
We will will come to show off our "kill" at Hon-E-Kor Gof & Country Club. Doors open at 6 pm. At 6:30 pm (for a few TBD soon) you are invited to come learn about food and wine pairings with an expert sommelier limited to the first 150 attendees) and at 7:30 the Shoe Hunt Party will take place filled with stories, baskets, and fun!
Money raised will be donated to
Chix 4 A Cause.

Using this application
This application can be used to apply for one or more of the shoe permit hunting programs as well as the patrons license if you choose. You will be unable to submit individual applications at a later date if you are not prepared to apply for a permit at this time- this is a limited once a year offer! Photocopies are accepted if you wish to pass this along to any other fellow shoe patron applicants who may not have received this permit. Return this completed application via email address provided. Please include your return email address.

Meet the permit Application Deadline
A. Online- received by 12 midnight of the deadline date
B. Mail- postmarked on or before the dealine date
C. Received by DNR service center (Paula, Kathy, Shelly, Kelly, Kelly, Tanya, Ronda) by close of the last business day on or before the dealine date. Hours and Days of operation may vary.
D. Successful applicants will receive notice approximately 7 days after the deadline date.
Group Applications
A maximum of four people who wish to hunt together may apply for a permit as a group. Each member of the group must submit an application. Select one member of the group as the group leader. Write the group leaders name on each of the group member’s applications. The group leader must write her own name in the group section as well. Failure to complete the group box will disallow you from the group.

B. Shoe Permit Instructions
• You will be hunting for your best pair of shoes you can find. If you are applying for a Patron License as well, this means purses, undergarments, accessories, and anything else you feel is deemed appropriate and if not bought may cause absolute distress.
• Shoes will be scored using a Boone and Crockett scoring technique which will include Type (bucks- heels, does- flats), Style (atypical?), Deal (clearance pricing, coupons, buy 1/get one free, or who needs a deal for these), conditions (weather, traffic, busyness of store), and Story behind the shoes (which may need to be told at least 10 times before you get it right and price may vary depending on who you are telling the story to)
• The season will consist of certain zoning areas to shop and time periods *NEW FOR THE 2009 SEASON- SHOP ANYWHERE YOU WISH AND SHOP ANYTIME YOU CAN!
• Tags no longer need to be provided once your application is accepted because we have decided that anyone who wishes to shop may with or without a tag but you may feel better having a tag if you have been a hunter for years as we know change can be hard to accept. Let us know if you need one.
• When you have been successful with your hunt, a “kill shot” or video would be greatly appreciated. Remember, to be accurate, heavy breathing and whispering can only occur during this time. Please send to paula.carlton@aurora.org.
• Your kill shot will be posted on the blog and may be at other various locations.
• A Party to celebrate our hunting season will be held on December 5th, 2009 at imagine Coffee House in West Bend, WI.

• For those who need like a variety of hunting, you may request this on your application
• Not only would this be for shoes but anything that may make you heightened in your beauty (inner beauty aside).
D. Periods to Choose from Starting October 1st though Dec 1st
• The True Hunter…Oct 1st til Dec 1st
• The Poacher…all year round
• The Widow Hunter… Nov 21st through the 29th
• The Working Girl…A day, pick any.
E. Zoning Information- please refer to internet map of the world
• Zone A…the world wide web
• Zone B…local Kettle Moraine regions
• Zone C…a purchased, possibly guided hunt outside of the local region
